The chess bag is nicely made, however there is a design flaw. The chess pieces are carried upside down. This could possibly damage chess pieces like the knight, king, or queen. This can be corrected by taking out the foam rubber that holds the chess pieces and gluing it back in the case. This can be done but you must be careful. I used Loctite Spray Adhesive 200. I agree with previous review that padding should be placed on the pieces so they do not slip out of their compartments. I have used bubble rap. Also there are no extra spaces for an additional queens. If these two flaws are corrected this would be an excellent case. Hopefully these two flaws will be corrected.

We purchased an unusual chess set for our grandson and searched for a padded case to protect the fragile pieces. This case had just arrived at chessusa and was suggested as a possibility to our search. It turned out as an absolutely perfect option. We did add an additional piece of 1/2 inch Nufoam to cover the pieces before the cover was zipped for some additional protection. The only reason I gave it a four star rating instead of five is because we felt we needed to add a bit more protection to the zipped as the pieces didn't fit entirely in the precut space provided for the pieces and we didn't want to hand cut the precut padding. Thank you chessusa for the suggestion!
