OK box but not real walnut

I just received my chess box today. The website says "Walnut" it is not. The box is well built, but it is is made of a laminate covered hardboard, not even real walnut vaneer. To be truthful the website should have mentioned this fact.
Simulated walnut, Walnut finish, or Walnut print would be a more accurate description.
However, for the price I'm not surprised that it's not the real wood, just disappointed.
I would recommend this box with the above caveat.
