The slotted demonstration board, which comes with red and black pieces, is a great way to teach chess to a group of students. More importantly, to me at least, I’m writing because of this company’s excellent customer service. I’ve ordered from Chess USA previously and always received a quality product delivered on time as advertised. However, when I ordered the slotted demonstration board, I was a little disappointed to find out that what I ordered was not what I received. When I contacted the company, I was very surprised to learn that they had realized their error and had already sent out the correct item. With expedited shipping, it arrived the next day. Not only that, but as an added bonus they told me to keep the product they mistakenly sent out. In this age of poor customer service, and sometimes struggling just to speak to an actual person, I’m impressed with my experience with Chess USA. When I called them, without going through a range of options, an actual human being answered the phone. That same person looked up my order and gave me their solution. Bravo Chess USA!
