17 3/4" Ebonized Chess Set with Carrying Case
This is a ChessUSA exclusive chess set that is fantastic for use at home or while traveling. It features high gloss ebonized and natural wood chess pieces with felted bottom in a traditional German Staunton design. The chessmen feature a 3 3/4" king and have felted bottoms with weight added for feel and balance.
This 17 3/4" dark walnut chessboard has a felt bottom and a semi-gloss sheen with rounded corners. The board features 1 3/4" squares and is appropriate as an accent piece without being too small to play. The chess set can certainly be left out on display on a coffee or end table, but it comes with a sturdy zippered case with handle for storage and travel.
The storage case features individual slots in foam to protect each piece and ample space to also store the chess board. A handle makes travel and storage a breeze.
