The Cherry And Maple Chess Board includes the fantastic, US made solid-wood chess boards. These boards are hand crafted solid blocks of cherry and maple (with a pearly tone for the maple). The light color of Cherry Chess Board will darken over time, but is suitable for both light and dark colored chess pieces. They have a design that straddles both modern and rustic and due to their hand carved construction, no two are ever the same.This board has 2" squares.

This board is a work of art! (And its made in the USA). The solid and well-constructed piece is warm and pleasing to any eye. Chessusa should write a longer description of it - I'd like to know exactly who and where it was made.
