This luxurious chess board from Turkey is sure to impress.The squares on this board are walnut for the dark squares and a glossy iridescent mother-of-pearl for the light side. A unique inlaid artistic mosaic surrounds the playing surface and the board features a unique beveled edge over beveled feet to raise the board up.
This opulent chess board blends artistry with chess fantastically, and would look fantastic with both traditional staunton and unique theme chessmen and is a wonderful addition to a chess collection.
Ideally, this board is well suited for 3 3/4" - 4 1/4" chessmen and has 2 1/4" squares.

I couldn`t believe how well made this board is! The top feels like silk- I can`t even tell where the seems are without looking. I matched it up with a 4" Staunton rosewood-boxwood set. It looks fantastic. When I first set it up I could`t stop staring at it. The Mother of Pearl for the light squares breaks all that wood up beautifully.
