There is little basic about our boards with rounded corners. Each features a stylish mosaic and ample border size making them an attractive, affordable option for chess boards in a number of sizes. This board suits traditional staunton chessmen and unique theme chessmen well as both a display or play board. This board is made from MDF with a rosewood finish.

A very nice printed chess board

This chess board has a nice weight for its size and has a nice synthetic felt backing. The wood pattern on the board is very realistic, and has the look of 400 dollar boards. However this is not a wood veneer board, it is a very fine laminate print that looks close to wood veneer, unfortunately it still doesn't quite have the glow of real wood veneer or real wood for that matter. But ultimately its a very good product and is built well for the price, just wish I had know it was a printed board before I had bought it.
