Bring your imagination to life with our wide range of figurine chess pieces. Each Chess Piece is individually hand-painted in meticulous detail and crafted from crushed stone. This chess set was largely inspired by the first part of Tolkien's trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring, a mythical tale of right and wrong underpinned by the belief that good will triumph over evil. Each of the major characters has been assigned to the role of a chess piece that most accurately portrays their nature. The light side of the set represents the good side and depicts virtues of goodness, loyalty, and honesty, whereas the dark side depicts evil, malevolence, and enmity.

Polystone is a compound made up of polyurethane resin mixed with powdered stone, which gives the chess pieces added weight and a porcelain or "stone-like" feel that is fairly durable. Additionally, polystone is slow to wear, making it ideal for collectors and casual players alike.
