This set is absolutely beautiful! I like to set up this board at home and use it to match the games I’m playing online. It’s far more pleasant to stare at a well carved set than a screen. I got this set 3 years ago, and it’s still my favorite to play with! The reason I’m giving five stars is the customer service. One of the pieces came a shade lighter than the others, and I requested a replacement. They replaced the piece, as well as any other I could find fault with (so now I have extra kings and pawns) free of charge! I just wish I could leave it out all the time. (If I didn’t have a cat, this would be a permanent centerpiece on my table) The pieces are fragile. I’ve gotten lucky when knocking pieces over these last few years, but I finally dropped a pawn that didn’t make it. (It wasn’t even a high fall, it’s just a matter of how they land) But I wasn’t chagrined, because I already had spares from my previous customer service. I could keep playing the same day!
