3 3/4" Honey Rosewood Deluxe Style Staunton Chess Pieces

     A new style here at ChessUSA, these pieces were chosen as a crossroads between affordability and durability, without sacrificing the staunton 

elegance. It's reminicent of the classic French staunton style, but makes itself unique by taking a more robust profile compared to some of its contemperaries. From the proudly adorned king, to the dramatic crenellations of the rook, this set stands apart as one befitting of a hearty defensive player. The Honey Rosewood looks particularly good on walnut, wengue, and ebonized boards. This style will fit best on a board with a tournament sized 2 1/4" squares, but there is 1/4" leeway either way to suit each individual taste.
