Wonderful chess set, well crafted and beautiful pieces, with padded drawers for easy and seamless storage. Christmas gift for my husband who just loved everything about this. Paid extra for gift wrapping, well worth it as box is very large and heavy. Thank you!!

The Delivery and packing were good. The finish on the set's board has 2 spots that are not like the rest of the board. Maybe heat warehouse storage damage. If the set was for me, i would likely attempt to resurface or polish the board, but this is a Christmas gift for my son in law, so i will wait until Christmas to see how he wants to treat it. Being polite, he is not likely to mention it to me, but after we play a few games i may point it out and suggest we address it. I don't want it looking poorly years from now, but took off 1 star for the GK "Grandmaster" set product itself.
