16" Black & Sycamore Chess Board with 1 1/2" Squares & Notation

Everyone Likes Choice. We sometimes take that philosophy to the extreme by offering hundreds of boards to choose from. Each are unique and there are chess boards that fit virtually any budget.

This chess board features a glossy Black finish with Sycamore white squares in a very clean design. It has a good sized border and a sycamore pinstripe to emphasize the playing surface. Glossy black is popular and pairs well with woods such as Ebonized, Ebony, Cardinal and Crimson Rosewoods found in many staunton chess pieces. It also matches well with many of the theme chess pieces - painted or not.

This board has 1 1/2" squares and is well suited to most chessmen ranging from 3" - 3 1/2" tall. This board also features algebraic notation.
